London Flat With Highly Coveted Private Outdoor Space Asks £3 Million

An apartment in London’s well-to-do Kensington neighborhood has hit the market with what is now one of the most coveted amenities around—private outdoor space.
The duplex home listed in mid-May with a £3 million (US$3.7 million) asking price.

Spanning more than 2,300 square feet, the apartment has an open-plan living space housing a formal dining space, an informal seating area, and French doors leading out to the landscaped, paved garden, according to a news release from listing agency Wilfords.

On the lower ground floor is the home’s three bedrooms, including a master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and a private patio. The bedrooms are joined by a family room, a wine room and a media room, which can easily double as a home office, the release said.

Mansion Global could not determine the owners of the apartment.
The property is just around the corner from Garden Lodge, a sprawling home surrounded by eight-foot-high walls that belonged to Queen frontman Freddie Mercury until his death in 1991, according to the release.
